From the Scout's Honor duo of chefs Miko Aspiras and Kristine Lotilla come another sweet offering by the Tasteless Group (Wrong Ramen, Hole in the Wall, Le Petit Souffle, Fowlbread, etc.), making ice cream lovers get more bold and playful with their frozen desserts.
Freezer Burn serves fun and crazy ice cream flavors and composed desserts combining hot and cold sweets, their newly opened space at Bonifacio High Street the new cool hangout for all hungry dessertarians.
Just how crazy can it get with Freezer Burn's offerings? As crazy as Ketchup and Mayo, one of their ice cream flavors that is trending the most. They also offer Cookies and Junk Food — a mashup of marshmallows, candy bars, chocolates, and cookies. There's also ice cream in Corn and Cheese, even a Butter flavor. These fun ice cream variants are available by the Scoop (P150/with cone), and by the Scoop with Toppings (P180/2 toppings, P190/3 toppings). P395 gets you a Sampler Bowl so you can have four scoops in one go to share.
They also carry other flavors like The Best Mint Stracciatella, Brown Butter, and Pecan Maple Bacon. More flavors are expected to roll out soon, but for now all eight flavors of ice cream at Freezer Burn are available as Composed Desserts (P295) combining the cold ice cream with a hot item for the signature hot and cold combination Freezer Burn experience. Chocolate ice cream is paired with churros in Ola!, while a quirky "breakfast" can be had with Morning Glory — maple bacon ice cream paired with brioche toast and popcorn. For the most unique combination, try the Ketchup Mayo Fries for a composed dessert of ketchup and mayo ice cream paired with salt and pepper fries. If you like to keep it sweet, there's Junkie (cookies and junk food ice cream + nutella donuts and caramel sauce), and G'Day Mate (butter ice cream + sticky date pudding).
