This summer, swoon over this gorgeous Boracay bae — or more like, ubae.
Meet The Sunny Side Cafe‘s new dish: Ube and Cereal Milk Giant Pancakes. They are soft like the clouds and bigger than your face. We aren’t sure what’s the best part of this dish — that it’s so fluffy and huge, or that it’s the prettiest shade of purple we’ve seen on a pancake, or that it is topped with ice cream. Altogether, it’s a triple threat of a carb-loaded treat.
One order gets you a pair of huge purple yam flavored pancakes coated in ube cream so you get a double dose of ube. It comes speckled with cereal crumb, giving each soft bite of the pancake little bits of crunch. The pancakes are served a la mode–a scoop of homemade cereal milk ice cream–making us wonder if this Sunny Side dish is a breakfast item or dessert. Then again, we shouldn’t question the deliciousness of well-made pancakes…the biggest and fluffiest ones in the island at that. It’s on the menu all day long, so enjoy it any time you desire.
