Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila starts the year in royal fashion as Spiral presents Le Grand Royal Brunch this Sunday, January 28.
Inspired by the much-awaited engagement of the decade by Prince Harry of Wales and Meghan Markle, Spiral treats its guests with a grand Sunday brunch experience featuring multi-awarded fashion designer Albert Andrada in a fashion show directed by Robby Carmona. The designer will be showcasing his haute couture collection inspired by the 1950s aesthetic of Princess Margaret of Snowden.
With 21 dining ateliers, Spiral has been known for having the longest buffet spread in Manila. For a special brunch, Le Grand Royal Brunch, they will be featuring sumptuous and artistic culinary interpretations by Spiral’s seasoned artisans. For the French section, they'll be showcasing a King Veggie Burger, Foie Gras Mi-Cuit with Poached Pears and Risotto ala Primavera. From the Chinese wok, a Stuffed Bai Hua Fish Mau which is a dish rich in collagen for healthy and younger looking complexion that's created especially for the Chinese Emperor.
Besides the usual Thai spread, they will be featuring Tiger Prawn in Basil and Fried Noodles with Nam Jim Sauce that's often prepared in elaborate fashion for the Thai princess. Some Fresh Tuna Yaki Shabu-Shabu that is a flavorful offering fit for the Japanese Emperor will be the highlight from the Hot Japanese Atelier together with its premium selection. There are more food selections from the Filipino, Korean, Indian, carving and dessert sections that are fit for royalty.
