I am deeply honored to be part of this esteemed list,ā Boutwood said. ā This wouldnāt have been possible without those who worked with us in the past, our managers and our customers. I believe that this recognition is going to be a major part of the recovery of the restaurant industry, when our economy opens up and our guests can once again indulge in gastronomic experiences. It will be a significant boost to Helm.ā
Chef Boutwood is a staunch advocate of using only the best and, at times, unique ingredients that he weaves into elegant and innovative food. Even humble local produce can be magically turned into fine dishes that please the palate to no end. At Helm, Boutwood oftentimes serve his 11-course degustacion menu creatively based on certain themes like colors, for instance. Nonetheless, a visit is always a multi-cuisine gastronomic experience.
