It was a ‘bar’rage of the best bartending skills, as the bartenders of TGIFridays Philippines rocked the stage and battled it out to give the audience at Fridays Alabang Town Center an adrenaline-pumping good time. Drinks were tossed, bottles bounced, and shakers flew as fever pitch energy reached its maximum level at the annual bartending tilt billed “TGIFridays Shake, Rattle, and Pour 2019”.
Marinel Paguia of TGIFridays Glorietta 3 was adjudged “Bartending Champion” as she showcased skillful flair, flawless moves, and unwavering focus in her singular goal: to win the local barchamps so she can compete at the TGIFridays Asia-Pacific Bartending Competition in Indonesia this October. If she wins the regional competition, she will move up and vie for the title at the 2019 TGIFridays World Bartending Competition to be held in Dallas, Texas next year, giving her a chance to bring home a another victory for the country, like what World Bartending Champions Rizza Umlas and Joelan Penafiel who won as worldwide a few years back.
Other winners this year included Noel Dialgo (TGIFridays Southwoods), 1st runner-up and Mark Medina (TGIFridays Evia) ,2nd –Runner Up. Marinel also won the Compulsory Round.
