Bodega Kitchen & Bar Wants You To Have Zero Problems and Here’s How

Plus points since it's located at the heart of Salcedo Village!

If you love Filipino food yet you want to stray away from the usual, Bodega Kitchen & Bar should be on your must-try list. Plus points since it's located at the heart of Salcedo Village so it's perfect for all of your office lunch and after office hangouts! Conceptualized and owned by group of friends, they aim to serve innovative Filipino dishes which hopefully will get more interest from the younger crowd.

Take for example the Sisig Fries (P275) which are thick-cut fries topped with their own sisig mix topped with nori flakes that goes well with the drizzled wasabi mayonnaise for added kick. There's also the Macho Nacho if you want a bigger serving that's great if you're bringing the whole family.

A typical Ilocano dish, Sinarabsab (P280) is one of the best-sellers and we totally understand why. It has different flavors incorporated in one dish: char-grilled liempo on top of tortang talong with a side of sweet bagoong and tart mango ensalada. If you're a big fan of green tea, you would enjoy their Tea Smoked Pusit (P525); fresh off the grill squid marinated in tea for that unusual earthy notes in every bite. It is served with a cilantro-citrus dip that will make you want to order another cup of rice.

A meal is without dessert. Order the Kung Hey Fat Choi (P150) which Cheska Alejandro, one of the owners, recalls that she used to eat it at home when she was still younger. These are tikoy wrapped in lumpia wrapper and fried until golden brown. It is served with ice cream on the side and drizzled with their own langka and caramel sauce. They also have a wide range of drinks you can choose from. Every Friday, experience Zero Problems where they have guest DJs to play your favorite hits while enjoying your meal and sipping on their signature cocktails.
