A new restaurant opens in Station 3, and is now the delicious homebase of Boracay’s freshly ground burgers, lipsmacking sandwiches, and frozen desserts.
Supermagic Burgers is the latest food concept from the folks that have been feeding Boracay island the fluffiest pancakes at The Sunny Side Cafe, and grilled meats paired with awesome sauces at Spice Bird Piri Piri Grill. And just like their first two concepts, Supermagic keeps comfort food delicious, fun, and playful — the perfect formula for enjoying good grub by the beach.
Creating magic with their super selection of food is Chef Natalia Moran, and the secret to what is now arguably the best place in Boracay to get the most delicious burgers is not even hidden in smoke and mirrors — it is simply the winning formula of putting freshness and flavor up front and center. Burgers here are quarter pounder patties made with prime imported beef cuts (no extenders!) and freshly ground when you order. Cooked medium, the burger is encased in freshly baked buns soft and chewy, made daily by its sister restaurant and next door neighboor The Sunny Side Cafe.
Then comes more flavor, in the form of seasoning: Supermagic Burgers sprinkles their fairy dust onto the patties with their signature Umami Dust which is a blend of Kampot pepper, sea sealt, and other special (and secret) ingredients for a flavor-packed, juicy burger.
You can begin your burger journey here with the most basic Supermagic Classic (P225) with lettuce and tomato, or go for the explosion of flavors with Supermagic Umami Bomb (P350) with house-made Umami Butter and Smoked Cheese topping the burger. Add-ons such as Cheddar Cheese (P20), Smoked Cheese (P30), Bacon (P60), Avocado (P20), and Umami Butter (P95) are also available should you want to buff up the burgers even more.
Aside from its beefy burger line up, must-tries are their Shrimp Roll (P350) and The Supermagic 'Shroom (P225): the former being a sloppy-good seafood sandwich of fresh shrimp tumbling with mango and ebiko glued together by a mix of Japanese mayo and Kampot pepper, and the latter–a vegetarian alternative–boasts of a patty made with shiitake, oyster, and button mushrooms that is crusted with almonds and cornflakes, and topped with smoked cheese. You'll forget it's meatless because it's already packed with so much playful textures and happy flavors.
A classic tag-team for burgers are some fries and milkshake, and Supermagic has these both as well. Pair your burger with Chipotle Cheese Fries (P105) topped with house-made cheese sauce, and quench your thirst with a thick and rich ice cream Shake (P250) like Cereal Milk or Malted Milk. The assorted flavors are also available per Scoop (P95). Thirsty for some brewski to assist your bites of burger? Local and imported craft beers are available, as well as local TBGB Ginger Beer (P250).
Aside from their luscious shrimp rolls, Supermagic Burgers is also the only place in Boracay serving Frozen Custard (P140), a creamy frozen treat and perfect beachside companion made with real milk and eggs. It comes with assorted mix-ins and drizzles, and favorites include Cookie Dough Paradise topped with cookie dough bits and chocolate sauce, and Crispy Dream enjoying an added crunch and salty-sweet flavors in every spoonful with chocolate-covered potato chips and sea salt.
