Texas Roadhouse Grill Expands Menu, Rebrands to ‘Wild West Roadhouse Grill’

Now known as Wild West Roadhouse Grill, it expanded culinary borders and adopted various Old Western-cooking influences in its menu to give its patrons a taste of cowboy cuisine.

Long-standing Bonifacio High Street tenant and East Wing New-comer, Texas Roadhouse Grill is set on new trails in 2014 with an expanded menu that goes beyond its popular Southwestern style cuisine and a new name that aptly captures the spirit of the Old West.

Now known as Wild West Roadhouse Grill, it crosses culinary borders, adopting various Old Western cooking influences in its menu to give its patrons a taste of cowboy cuisine.

"We changed the name of the restaurant because we did not want to be limited to just a certain state (Texas). By renaming it to Wild West Roadhouse Grill, we can accommodate more classic Western dishes in our menu," says Laine Vallar, Marketing Manager.

While traditional Texas specialties continue to be a mainstay in the restaurant’s menu – think of hearty and uncomplicated flavors whipped up by cowboys who survived long trail drives by roasting meats by the campfire – Wild West Roadhouse Grill is introducing new dishes originating from the American Southwest. Here are ten of the must-try dishes at Wild West Roadhouse Grill:

For starters, get their Jesse James Sampler (P470) for a taste of  all-three Wild West Roadhouse best sellers: chicken tenders, buffalo wings, and wild cheese fritters.

Caesar salad is a classic choice but for something more refreshing, try Roadhouse Lite Salad (P250) topped with ripe mangoes, grapes, candied walnuts, and bleu cheese and drizzled with Dijon dressing.

Since the Old West’s cowboys who knew their meat, Wild West Roadhouse Grill made sure it mastered the art of grilling. The Great Ribeye (P1450) remains their bestseller. This heavyweight (12 oz) US Ribeye seasoned with herbs and garlic is guaranteed to please the hungriest of stomachs.

Carnivores can also count on the Flat Iron Steak (P795) served with roasted herb jus, sweet corn on cob, and mashed potatoes and Open Range Beef Tips (P550), which are melt in your mouth steak cubes marinated and grilled served with veggies and mashed potatoes.

The Old West was pretty big on meat and grills but that's not saying it didn't enjoy occasional seafood as well. New in the menu, Buffalo Bill’s Prawns (P450) are smothered with Parmesan cheese and served with wild west rice and veggies.

Another must-try, the Shrimp and Salmon Skewer (P495), has three skewers of shrimps and salmon grilled and seasoned with unique Roadhouse herbs and spices.
