Silent Sky

Repertory Philippines presents the critically-acclaimed play by Lauren Gunderson Silent Sky.

Silent Sky is a play about an astronomer named Henrietta Swan Leavitt who – along with her team of of women – made discoveries that shaped modern astronomies. It follows Henrietta and her life in a man's world. This play is to be directed by Joy Virata.

Taipei or the Hi-way: A One Man Comedy Show by Big Norm Alconcel
February 8 (Concepto, Poblacion, Makati)

Norm Alconcel’s life took an unexpected detour in 2017 when, for 7 months, he was stuck in Taiwan on charges related to less than 1 joint’s worth of marijuana.

He was on route to the Philippines, but didn’t make it. The didn’t stop him from making this unfortunate turn of events into the most epic adventure and story for the ages.

Charot!
February 8, 9, 10, 15, and 22 (PETA Theater Center)

A colloquial term meaning, "just kidding." It underlines a pun. It downplays a scathing statement to jest.

PETA's "CHAROT!" presents Philippine current events for the freak show that it is, imagining the future and consequences of a new charter. This is our rehearsal for democracy, or the lack thereof… Charot!

Directed by Rak of Aegis director, Maribel Legarda, Charot! is an interactive comedy musical that revolves around the concept of "voting" and democracy, and will present the realities of the Philippine society in a strangely familiar satire that is both hilarious and ridiculous.

Creative Nights with Gus Albor x CRWN
February 8 (Ayala Museum)

Following the success of last year’s run, CREATIVE NIGHTS is back at the Ayala Museum this February 8, 2019! Expect a night of unbridled creative inspiration, celebration, and collaboration, designed for the creative community.

True to the spirit of bringing two art forms together, Ayala Museum has collaborated with Bandwagon Philippines, a music website that advocates the support of Asian music across Southeast Asia. Together, they have curated the second Creative Nights, bringing together internationally renowned abstractionist Gus Albor and Manila-based producer and beat maker CRWN.

Creative Nights tickets are now available for PHP 1,500 (VIP) PHP 900 (on the day walk-ins),PHP 700 (Regular), PHP 600 (Early Bird), and PHP 500 (Ayala Museum Members) at the Ayala Museum ticket counter and via Ticketworld.
