Two of the Marvel movies’ biggest stars, Ryan Reynolds and Mark Ruffalo, are teaming up for the upcoming film The Adam Project.
Deadpool actor and MCU’s Hulk shared on their Instagram accounts some photos from the sci-fi film, where Reynolds goes back in time to seek the help of his 13-year-old self. Check out some of the photos below:
Reynolds shared the photos with the caption “I have a friend from work too. But no matter how angry I make him, he stays the same size,” referencing Thor’s iconic line in Thor: Ragnarok.
Meanwhile, Ruffalo shared one photo from set where he looks like he’s explaining a lot to his co-star. He jokingly states in the caption: “Passing on the birds and the bees knowledge to my son in #TheAdamProject.”
The film will follow the young Adam (assumed to be the name of Reynold’s character) who meets his older self from the future. The two must then join forces to find their father, played by Ruffalo, in a secret mission where the future of humanity is at stake.
Directed by Shawn Levy (Free Guy, Night at The Museum), the film will also star Zoe Saldana (Guardians of the Galaxy), Jennifer Garner (Peppermint), and Walker Scobell. The film is expected for release on Netflix, with the release date yet to be revealed.
