The Louvre Museum in Paris, France is one of the biggest destinations in the world as its houses some the greatest masterpieces in history including Leonardo Da Vinci's Mona Lisa. But can you imagine spending a night beneath its iconic pyramid?
On the 30th anniversary of the I.M. Pei designed glass pyramid, the Louvre Museum partners with Airbnb to celebrate the occasion by conducting a contest wherein the winner (plus his/her guest) will get the once-in-a-lifetime chance of sleeping beneath the pyramid, under the comfort of a glass pyramid tent.
"This is your chance to experience the world’s most famous museum when the doors shut and the lights go out. Your host? Mona Lisa herself." This, according to the Airbnb website.
But it's more than just sleeping under the stars. Before this, you also get a VIP tour inside the museum, have a drink in their sumptuous living room, dine on a Venus-inspired food selection, and listen to an intimate acoustic concert at what was once chamber of Napoleon III.
To join, visit the contest page online and answer the question "Why would you be the Mona Lisa's perfect guest?" before the contest closes on April 12.
