Atomic Blonde and Mad Max: Fury Road star Charlize Theron becomes a millenia-old ax-wielding warrior in the upcoming Netflix film, The Old Guard.
Theron plays Andy, who leads a group of mercenaries that have lived across eras protecting the mortal world.
When someone comes to harness their immortality for evil intent, the team must protect the world from their own immortality while welcoming a new member.

Gina Prince-Bythewood directed the film. The screenplay is written by Greg Rucka who also wrote the comic book series from which the film was based. Alongside Charlize Theron are stars Kiki Layne, Marwan Kenzari, Luca Marinelli, Harry Melling, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and more.
