Go big with GoPro’s smallest camera ever, Session

GoPro Hero 4 Session is the newest addition to the family which is 50% smaller and 40% lighter.

GoPro announced the launch of the lightest, smallest camera in its list. The GoPro Hero 4 Session, is the smallest GoPro ever and shaped like an almost-perfect cube. The newest addition to the growing family is 50% smaller and 40% lighter than the rest of GoPro’s high-end Hero 4 range.

The camera has a 1080p60, 720p100 and 1440p30 for video recording and captures 8mp single, burst and time lapse photos.

Although most GoPros have three buttons on them (top, front and side), Sessions has only a one-button control. Press the button once and the Session starts recording a video, press it longer and it will capture time-lapse photos.

If you love shooting underwater, the camera is waterproof up to 33' or 10m without an extra case. Furthermore, there is an auto-image rotation feature which corrects the image orientatin during recording so you don't have to manually edit your shots.

Do you already have a GoPro yet you want to have Session in your hands? No worries. The new camera is compatible with other GoPro mounts and accessories so you can still use them.

Like any other GoPros, Session has a built-in WiFi and Bluetooth so you can easily connect it to the app (for iOS, Android and Windows Phone) and its remote.

The GoPro HERO4 Session is currently available for pre-order through the GoPro website for $399.99, and will start shipping later this month.
