Poulet rôti or roast chicken is a staple and traditional comfort food in France, and is the centerpiece at Poullet Manille in SM Aura. Here, they have their French Chicken (P998/whole with 8 sides, P620/half with 4 sides, P398/Quarter with 2 sides) being cooked inside their French rotisserie oven, and currently, they offer poulet in four flavors: French County Classic Chicken, Poulet's Truffle Chicken, South West BBQ Chicken, and Peri-Peri Chicken. What's impressive is no matter what flavor of French chicken you order here at Poulet Manille, you can expect the meat to be juicy and succulent– thanks to the rotating technique and consistent temperature while roasting, sealing in both flavor and juices of the bird.

Poulet's Truffle Chicken

The classic is a good primer if you appreciate clean flavors, while the truffle chicken's aroma is deliciously intoxicating with truffle essence wafting in the air as soon as your plate arrives. The BBQ chicken has a sweet and tangy finish, using a Texas-style reduction with root beer, while the Peri-Peri (the newest variant) is the flavor the spicy lovers will find themselves ordering more of.

I enjoyed pairing the spicy peri-peri with mixed vegetables, the truffle chicken with the velvety-smooth potato mash, and the luscious truffle chicken (a personal favorite) with the crunch of broccoli and almonds.
