About the Event
The annual HRSC has taken yet another step in giving us a glimpse of the future of HR as globalization develops. Emphasizing the unique quality of millennials, this year’s HRSC allows young HR leaders to venture into the existing and possible changes in the field of human resources.
With the theme, “Millennials: Bridging the Gap of the Next Generation of HR Leaders” the 7th Annual HR Students’ Intenrational Convention aims to empower human resources and endeavor to reach globalization. Breaking cultural barriers as it welcomes delegates from different parts of the country as well as delegates from different parts of the world. Building network and linkages as it prepare future HR practitioners for the demands of today’s competitive business environment and rapidly evolving world of human capital management and strengthening academe-industry partnership as the students and educators get to meet industry practitioners.
The host for this year’s annual HRSC will be the HR Educator’s Association of the Philippines (HREAP). HREAP is a duly registered non-stock, non-profit association, a professional organization of human resource educators in the country. They will also be hosting the HR Educators’ Conference 2017 and the 2nd Search for the Top 10 HR Students of the Philippines 2017.
As future HR authorities, they must fully understand current and impending changes in the landscape to sustain the field of human resources. With such unique backgrounds, millennials seem isolated from generations prior. The Annual HR Students Convention`s ultimate goal is to seal this perceived gap and show future HR leaders where they fit in the picture. By placing human resources in a familiar context to millennials, they will gain appreciation for it, and thus bridge the gap.
The convention proper will be held on March 2-4, 2017 at the Venus Parkview Hotel, Baguio City, Philippines.
