About the Event
Last 2014, ENGLICOM DLSU-M kick-started its 50th year as it launched the first ever college music festival in the Metro, Jacko Wacko Music Festival. Almost a year has passed after that memorably epic night; and while others are celebrating 2015 with fireworks, ENGLICOM opens its doors once again as another SEQUEL of the previous music festival has risen the shores of Manila - Jacko Wacko Music Festival: Into The Waves.
An avenue for pioneering DJs and EDM lovers, Jacko Wacko Music Festival gave its audience an unforgettable experience last 2014, but this year will be a whole lot different. From being the usually dry and hot on-shore rave party , something new has finally sailed the seas and is about to make its mark in rave history.
This February 7, 2015, from 4pm onwards, rave until dawn at the SM Mall of Asia Open Grounds Block 22 as “Into The Waves” brings you to a new rave-tastic paradise with firetrucks filled with water, wet and foam-y grounds, and a lot more fun! Up with the waves and down to the beat as Ace Ramos, along with other well-known DJs, boost our energy and soul with their awesome tunes. You also wouldn’t help to scream and shout to the songs of the hottest bands alive! Yes, you heard, or maybe read, it right! This year, Jacko Wacko Music Festival will be featuring a number of bands to play the night away - Up Dharma Down being one of them - as you sail along the eight waves awaiting you.
But it’s not all just fun and dance! Because as you jump to the beats and rave with us, you are also able to help our younger brothers and sisters exercise their right to education. Proceeds of the event will directly be given to the Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation, a foundation that builds yellow school boats and other modes of transportation( such as boats, bridges and dormitories) to helps students cross the body of water and help them arrive safely in their respective schools.
So come in your best sailing outfit because Jacko Wacko goes nautical once more! No one will be going home dry; and no one will definitely be going home early because Jacko Wacko will be giving you a taste of the next phase of its sequel. You surely wouldn’t want to miss the party that’s going to be the talk of the town for centuries. Rave with the waves until the clock strikes dawn and party like there’s no tomorrow.
