A bigger and bolder TGIFridays rocks Ayala Center Cebu and gets geared to please Cebuanos with good food and great times, amidst a new look and feel.
The restaurant welcomes guests with clean modern lines, modish disc ceiling and accents like the copper spun. Large bronze droplights fuse well with the red decorative pendant lights, complementing the tanned wooden spindles and balusters. The new interiors also feature modern seating and cozy U-shaped couches.
There is a styish block artwork depicting New York’s skyline, this state being the place where TGIFridays opened its first restaurant at the corner of 1st Avenue and 63rd Street in 1965.
Walk down memory lane and trace TGFridays history festooned on the heritage wall where framed photographs retell the journey of Alan Stillman, the man who founded the restaurant in the 60s. Some of these photos also represent mission statements that TGIFridays carries with pride: excellence, commitment to serving good food and great service with a little dash of fun.
And since TGIFridays is known globally for its skillful bartenders, a highlight of the store is the better and more modish bar. Here, guests can sit back, drink, eat and sip their favorite cocktails or mocktails with comfortable spaces to interact with the bartenders. On occasions, they can even see special shows by bartenders and their breathtaking bottle-spinning and drink-flipping antics.
While Fridays Cebu which opened in 2008 had to evolve with the changing times to cater to the next generation of guests, its mantra is still the same: fun dining and good times. It remains true to offering favorite comfort food—from delicious burgers, ribs, steaks and decadent desserts—served by cheerful and efficient waitstaff.
