On November 9, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls unveiled the country’s largest lighted Christmas Bear, a 50 ft. tall and 70 ft. wide white Santa Teddy that sits atop the Alliance Global Tower in Uptown Bonifacio. Measuring 50 ft. tall and 70 ft. wide, the giant ‘Mega Bear’ is visible in places as far as Makati, C5 and Ortigas areas.
The “Bear Lighting” event officially launched the holiday season at Megaworld Lifestyle Malls. A Beary Merry Christmas as it is aptly called, the holiday campaign celebrates the childhood nostalgia associated with the holidays through a vast collection of Christmas Bears displayed across 6 malls.
Inside Uptown Mall at Uptown Bonifacio, guests will also discover a Winter Wonderland. The white Christmas theme also features a 30ft White Christmas tree decorated with 10 Polar Teddy Bears and 17 animatronic bears on the platform. Guests will also see bears located at various entry points, hanging from the ceiling and on different locations within the mall.
At Lucky Chinatown, guests will experience “Pandamonium” as the mall features China’s iconic Pandas. Highlighting the theme is a giant Panda carousel, a rotating animatronic display with moving pandas in traditional Chinese costumes on the bamboo set.
Mall goers will also see Christmas Bear displays at Eastwood City, where Teddy Bears dressed in marching band costumes hang from lighted swings in a carnival theme. At Venice Grand Canal, giant teddy bears sit by the Venetian Christmas Tree, offering more photo opportunities at the country’s most romantic mall.
Meanwhile guests can also hunt for the Teddy Bears hanging around Newport Mall and Southwoods Mall.
