As fans await the second season of Netflix’s hit fantasy series, The Witcher, a new show from the same genre rises– Shadow & Bone.
The first teaser trailer has been revealed for the upcoming series, and it already gives us a glimpse of the monsters and magic that come with it. Watch the trailer below:
Shadow & Bone is based on Leigh Bardugo’s worldwide bestselling Grishaverse novels. Set in a war-torn world, map maker Alina Starkov discovers that she might just have the power to save humanity from the Shadow Fold– a monstrous threat that will soon envelop the world with darkness.
The show will star Jessie Mei Li, Archie Renaux, Freddy Carter, Amita Suman, Kit Young, and Ben Barnes. Eric Heisserer serves as showrunner while Lee Toland Krieger serves as director.
