1. Sierra Burgess is a Loser
Launches on: September 7

A modern rom-com retelling of the Cyrano de Bergerac story, Sierra Burgess is a Loser centers on Sierra, an intelligent teenager, who gets involved in a case of mistaken identity, leading into an unexpected romance. She must then work with a popular girl to win over her crush. The film stars Shannon Purser, Kristine Froseth, and Noah Centineo. 

2. Atypical (Season 2) 
Launches on: September 7

Atypical will also be coming back for season 2 this month! The show is about 18-year-old Sam who's on the autistic spectrum, following him on his journey for love and self-discovery. The show stars Keir Gilchrist, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Michael Rapaport, and Bridgette Lundy-Paine.

3. Marvel's Iron Fist (Season 2)
Launches on: September 7

The second season of Iron Fist will further Danny Rand's transformation, as he struggles to figure out who he is. He must then use his kung-fu mastery and the power of the Iron Fist to fight the criminal element in New York City to protect the town and the people he loves. It stars Finn Jones, Jessica Henwick, Jessica Stroup, and Tom Pelphrey. 

4. American Vandal
Launches on: September 12 

The Emmy-nominated and Peabody Award-winning true-crime satire returns for season 2 this month! The second season will feature documentaries Peter Maldonado and Sam Ecklund who will be investigating an elite high school's case of poop-related pranks involving Turd Burglar. The cast of season 2 includes Tyler Alvarez, Griffin Gluck, Travis Tope, Taylor Dearden, Melvin Gregg, and DeRon Horton. 

5. On My Skin
Launches on: September 12

A film based on a real event, On My Skin centers on one of the most controversial Italian court cases in the recent years. It's about Stefano Cucchi, who was found dead during his detention after being arrested for a minor crime. It stars Alessandro Borghi and Jasmine Trinca. 

6. BoJack Horseman (Season 5)
Launches on: September 14

The story of BoJack Horseman – a.k.a. the failed 90s sitcom star – continues as he tries to make his way through self-loathing and whiskey, alongside his human friend Todd, and his feline ex-agent, Princess Carolyn. The show features voices by Will Arnett, Aaron Paul, and Amy Sedaris. 

7. Nappily Ever After
Launches on: September 21

A film starring Sanaa Lathan, Nappily Ever After is about Violet Jones who is living what seems to be a flawless life until she gets involved in an accident at the hairdresser. She then realizes that she is not living the kind of life she wanted, but the one she is "supposed to live". Joining Lathan are Ricky Whittle, Lyric Bent, Ernie Hudson, and Lynn Whifield. 

8. Maniac (Season 1)
Launches on: September 21

Starring Emma Stone and Jonah Hill, Maniac is new show telling the story of Annie Landsberg and Owen Milgrim, who were drawn to a pharmaceutical trial, believing that it can repair anything about the mind. Together with 10 other strangers, they go on a three-day trial of the drug, thinking that it will solve all their problems permanently.
