More than 2 decades since the last episode of the children's game show Where In the World is Carmen San Diego? aired on TV, Netflix will be rebooting the Carmen Sandiego franchise, premiering early next year!

Carmen Sandiego centers on the titular character, described as a modern-day Robin Hood who travels the world and steals from V.I.L.E. to give back to its victims. It will also give the origin story on how she became the thieving villain that she is. The 20 episode series (each episode with a 22-minute running time) will follow her escapade, and figure out where and who in the world Carmen Sandiego is.
The show is based on the media franchise of the same name and is the first Carmen Sandiego show since 1999. Gina Rodriguez (Jane the Virgin) wil be lending her voice to Carmen Sandiego, and she will be joined by Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things) who would be voice-acting for the Player.
Carmen Sandiego will launch on Netflix this January 18.
