Christian Bables – who won acting awards for his biggest break as the gay best friend Barbs in the film Die Beautiful – guests in Art 2 Art in its episode airing on January 13.
Bables recounts that his journey in the industry had not been that easy. But his persistence paid off when, after seven years of taking a variety of workshops, he finally landed an acting gig which started him on his career.
A communication arts graduate of De La Salle University-Dasmariñas, Bables most recently won as Best Main Actor at the Hanoi International Film Festival in Vietnam for his role in the critically acclaimed Signal Rock directed by Chito Roño. He is also a cast member of the teleserye Halik and is currently considering a number of film offers, including a hero biopic.
