We’re two weeks away from the launch of Netflix’s quirky new K-drama The School Nurse Files! And just to keep fans excited to this new show, they recently launched the main trailer to it, which features our two leads – Jung Yu Mi and Nam Joo Hyuk – team up and beat monsters to save the school!
The new trailer teases us on the battles our two leads will be taking on, as well as the other character’s we definitely keep our eyes on! Check it out below:
In The School Nurse Files, Jung Yu Mi plays Ahn Eun Young, a school nurse born to fight jellies all her life with her trusty rainbow sword and BB Gun. Nam Joo Hyuk plays the Chinese Characters teacher Hong In Pyo, who distances himself from others because of his disabled leg. When Eun Young realizes that her energy recharges quicker when she holds In Pyo’s hand, they end up working together to save the school from the jellies.
Joining them in the story are Hwa Su, director of the acupuncture clinic, and Mackenzie, a mysterious teacher who seems to have a secret motive.
The K-drama is based on the award-winning novel School Nurse Ahn Eun Young by Chung Se Ra, who also wrote the screenplay for the show. It’s directed by Lee Kyung Mi, who also helmed the award-winning films Crush and Blush and The Truth Beneath.
The School Nurse Files premieres globally on Netflix this September 25.
