DCEU’s Superman and The Witcher‘s Geralt, Henry Cavill will play yet another cultural icon in the upcoming film on Netflix, Enola Holmes. In this film, a curly-haired Cavill plays the most famous detective, Sherlock Holmes, who is the big brother to Millie Bobby Brown’s Enola.

The film is based on the book by Nancy Springer, The Enola Holmes Mysteries. The movie will tell the story of Enola and the sudden disappearance of her mother. She is then sent to her brothers, Sherlock and Mycroft, who want to send her away to a school for proper ladies. But with great determination and that familiar cunning from her genes, Enola escapes and sets out on a journey to find her mother.
Fans of Cavill are surely happy to look forward to more Henry Cavill soon. Filming for the second season of The Witcher has resumed shooting last August 17, while The Snyder Cut is officially coming out this 2021 on HBO Max. But as the fans await for these titles, they have Enola Holmes to watch starting on September 23 on Netflix!
Enola Holmes is directed by Harry Bradbeer with a screenplay from Jack Thorne. It also stars Sam Claflin, Helena Bonham Carter, Louis Partridge, and more.
