Netflix has just announced that Henry Cavill lead star of their upcoming original series The Witcher is coming to Manila this December to celebrate the launch of the show with their Filipino fans! The actor will be coming with Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, the showrunner of the series.
#TheWitcherInManila event will be happening on December 12, 2019, 5pm onwards at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay Activity Center. Here, fans not only get to see the lead star up close, but they also get the chance to watch the first episode of The Witcher before anyone else. A special photo zone will also be available from December 10 to 13, so people get to experience the world of The Witcher firsthand.
The Witcher is a series based on the bestselling fantasy series of books about fate and family. It centers on a monster hunter struggling to find his place in a world where humans, elves, witches, gnomes, and monsters all battle to survive and thrive.
The show stars Henry Cavill, Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan, Jodhi May, Adam Levy, Mimi Ndiweni, Emma Appleton, and more.
