Marvel and DC Comics’ relationship and rivalry throughout their history will be bared in the upcoming docuseries from Roku, Slugfest. From the Russo Brothers of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame fame, the documentary will trace the decades-long battles between the two companies and their iconic superheroes.

“Audiences will leave Slugfest with a whole new understanding of how the rivalry between two creative powerhouses shaped the iconic storylines and characters that fans around the world have come to know and love,” said the Russo Brothers in a statement, via Deadline. “We’re thrilled to partner with The Roku Channel to unpack the fascinating, but untold, history behind the most well-known competition in comics.”
Based on Tucker Reed’s book, Slugfest: Inside the Epic, 50-Year Battle Between Marvel and DC, the documentary is directed by Don Argott and Sheena M. Joyce, with the narration of Kevin Smith. It will premiere on the Roku Channel on December 24.
