20 years after we got aboard the Hogwarts train to enter the magical world of Harry Potter, our favorite trio — Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint — and the rest of our favorite Harry Potter cast members will be reuniting for a retrospective special. Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts is set to premiere on HBO MAX on January 1, 2022.

According to the synopsis from HBO MAX, Return to Hogwarts will tell the making-of story of one of the most beloved film franchises of all time through interviews and cast conversations. It will also celebrate the legacy of the Harry Potter franchise and its impact on the Potterheads around the world.
Aside from the Harry Potter trio, cast members all throughout the franchise’s film will be joining the tribute for the beloved fantasy series. Some of the names mentioned in the teaser include Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltraine, Ralph Fiennes, Gary Oldman, Imelda Staunton, Tom Felton, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, Mark Williams, Bonnie Wright, Alfred Enoch, Matthew Lewis, Evanna Lynch, and more.
Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts will be streaming on HBO MAX on January 1, 2022. No information has been announced yet as to whether or not it will also be streaming on HBO GO.
