Providing its international subscribers and users with more options to fully experience Asian entertainment closer to home, iQiyi’s trending and favorite titles K-drama “Jirisan” and C-Drama “Forever and Ever” are now dubbed in Tagalog.
With this latest and highly-commendable feature added, iQiyi further brings the Filipino voice talents to a wider, global audience while at the same time bringing a touch of home to Filipinos overseas with these Tagalog-dubbed versions of their beloved dramas.
“Forever and Ever” stars modern-day C-drama idols Ren Jia Lun and Bai Lu. The drama introduces Shi Yi, a gentle, pleasant and low-key top voice actress who fatefully runs into chemistry professor, Zhou Sheng Chen at the airport. They gradually develop a mutual understanding in getting along with each other, and join hands to preserve traditional craftsmanship and overcome many storms as they decide to accompany each other for the rest of their lives.
“Jirisan” stars A-list Hallyu actors Gianna Jun and Ju Ji-hoon. Set against the backdrop of towering views of Mount Jiri, where rangers and other employees of the Jirisan National Park climb through the mysterious and unexplored regions of the mountain, trying to rescue the survivors and lost trekkers. Gianna Jun gears up as Seo Yi Kang, the park’s top ranger who has vast experience in navigation, making her knowledgeable when it comes to tracking down lost individuals. One day, she becomes the partner of Kang Hyun Jo played by Ju Ji-hoon, a rookie park ranger who is a military academy graduate and an ex-lieutenant who experienced a horrific incident on Mount Jiri which led him to become a ranger.
The Tagalog-dubbed version of “Forever and Ever” runs every Wednesday and Thursday at 8:00pm while “Jirisan” will be available every Monday and Tuesday at 8:00pm.
