Murder Mystery, the 2019 comedy whodunnit film from Netflix, has found the director for its upcoming sequel, Deadline reports.
Jeremy Garelick, known for his work on films such as The Binge, The Break-Up, and The Wedding Ringer, has been named to helm the upcoming sequel, with the first film’s main stars Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler expected to reprise their roles as the crime-solving couple, Nick and Audrey. While the return of Aniston and Sandler is yet to be confirmed, it has been revealed that the sequel will shoot in Paris and the Caribbean.
The first Murder Mystery film followed the story of the NYC cop Nick Spitz and his wife Audrey. During their flight for a much-awaited European trip, a chance meeting earns them an invitation to the Super Yacht of elderly billionaire Malcolm Quince. When Quince gets murdered, however, they become the prime suspects, and to clear their name the two must work together to find the real culprit. Stream the film now on Netflix.
