In case you missed it, Netflix announced yesterday that starting February 1, Studio Ghibli films will finally be available on the streaming site! So if you're planning to rewatch your favorite animate movies or you're planning to make a deep-dive into its trove of amazing films for the first time, it's definitely easy and more accessible to do so beginning on February!
The studio's catalog will be available globally (excluding US, Canda, and Japan), subtitled in 28 languages, and dubbed in up to 20 languages so fans from the Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America will be able to enjoy these classics.
Studio Ghibli is an AcademyAward-winning Japanese animated film studio founded back in 1985 by directors Isao Takahata and Hayao Miyazaki. The studio has since produced 22 feature-length films that have gained recognition from both audiences and critics worldwide.
