Horror-thriller film IT has just opened in cinemas this week, but if you're one of those who just can't get enough of Stephen King, then the trailer to the upcoming film adaptation of Gerald's Game is something that would feed your horror and thriller-loving selves.

Based on a novel of the same name, Gerald's Game is a psychological horror-thriller film which follows a married couple - Gerald and Jessie - who goes on a retreat in a remote place. To spice up their romance, Gerald handcuffs his wife to the bed despite all her protests. Everything goes horribly wrong when Gerald has a heart attack, eventually dying on the floor with Jessie still handcuffed. With no one to hear and help her, she needs to figure out a way to survive physically and mentally.
The film is directed by Mike Flanagan who helmed Ouija: Origin of Evil, Oculus, and Hush. It stars Carla Gugino (Sin City, San Andreas, Sucker Punch) and Bruce Greenwood (Star Trek, Mad Men, Thirteen Days).
Gerald's Game premieres on Netflix on September 29.
