The zoo that’s been part of many childhood field trips and family visits, Manila Zoo is set to reopen to the public with a new look. The Manila Public Information Office has released some sneak peek photos of a tour of the zoo led by Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno and Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna.

Mayor Moreno announced that the Manila Zoo will have a soft opening on December 30 for the families of the 1,300 construction workers who worked on the redevelopment of the zoo. They are also to be treated as VIP guests, according to Moreno.
