Time and again, Airbnb has continued to bring new and memorable experiences to people who just want to have a nice staycation that would give them the relaxation they needed whichever city in whatever country they want to be in. Just recently, Sweden has listed the whole country on Airbnb for free, a deal that’s perfect to those who just want to experience and enjoy nature in the best way they could.
According to Sweden’s page on the website, they wanted to promote the concept of Allemansrätten – the people’s freedom to roam and enjoy the Swedish nature. To them, the country’s nature isn’t just a place with trees and cliffs, it’s also a place where they get to have everything that a home provides – from food, shelter, to the leisure activities that the lakes provide.
Oh, and did we mention that you could go to these places, pitch a tent, and stay there for free?
Here are some of the places people could “rent” and camp in with Airbnb:
Rustic Forest Retreat in Vintage Style
Rugged Cliffs Shaped by the Ice Sheet
Beach with Large Limestone Columns (Raukar)
These spots are accessible via train, buses, and private cars, depending on where you're coming from or the budget you have alotted for the trip. No matter where you want to go or how you will be getting there, one thing to remember during your trip is this: Leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but memories.
