Celebrate Earth Day with These Online Activities by Greenpeace

As we all hope healing from this current situation, let us not forget to also observe the annual Earth Day.

Today is Earth Day, and even as we face a world-scale health concern, we must also stay mindful of our current climate situation.

While most members of the non-governmental environmental organization Greenpeace have made use of this quarantine period to take care of their loved ones, others volunteered for different initiatives to help frontliners and communities in need.

And since it’s Earth Day, Greenpeace members are also taking this opportunity to inform, educate, and encourage people at home to make further actions in protecting our planet from pollution and other destructive agents.

Today, April 22 at 3PM, they’re opening an FB live conference on the changes they want to see in our cities, as we all overcome this health crisis together. RSVP on the event page now.

There will also be a webinar on urban gardening at 5PM that will be hosted by the I Am Hampaslupa Ecological Agriculture, Inc. and Urban Agriculture PH. The webinar is free but you need to register here.

At 7PM, they will have the online screening of Ellen Ongkeko-Marfil’s ā€œLakbay2Love,ā€ the first bike movie in the Philippines starring Dennis Trillo, Solenn Heussaff, and Kit Thompson.

Watch the trailer below and register here.

Lastly, on April 26 at 3PM, Greenpeace will host the exclusive online screening of ā€œThe Story of Plastic,ā€ a documentary exposing the ugly truth behind the global plastic pollution crisis. You can register here.

Celebrate Earth Day with Greenpeace and get involved in the movement to build a better world!
