A watch party for Christopher Nolan‘s films will be held online, but they’re not heading to the usual streaming platforms. Participants will be watching the full film as video game avatars inside Fortnite.
Movie Nite at Party Royale’s Big Screen is a virtual event inside the popular battle royale game that offers viewers three full-length films from Nolan, namely Inception, Batman Begins, and The Prestige.
The movie screenings inside the game are still being tested but gamers from different parts of the world will already be able to take part in the event. So far only Inception has been announced for screening here in the Philippines. It will be screened tomorrow, June 26, at 8:00PM.

“We believe the idea of getting together with your friends and family at Party Royale to watch a movie is powerful and exciting, and we’re looking at ways to increase global participation in the future,” it says on a statement from the Epic Games website.
