As Metro Manila, along with other cities and provinces, shift the gear into General Community Quarantine (GCQ) this June, Grab enhances its safety measures to minimize risks of spreading COVID-19 in its ride-hailing transport service.
Part of the safety measures GrabCar will be implementing as it returns for the “new normal” are contactless rides. Both passengers and drivers are required to wear face masks; passengers must book for themselves as a contact tracing protocol; and each GrabCar can only accept up to two passengers per ride.
