Apple just revealed the latest iPhone that they'll be releasing, and its most promising feature? A lower price range.
The iPhone SE 2020 is Apple's latest budget iPhone with a starting price of P26,490 that would surely be a gamechanger in the smartphone competition within that price range.
In the recent years, the price has always been the issue on why people choose not to own an iPhone, or Apple devices in general. Some would say they can't afford it, while others who can afford it would rather not to and say that it is quite impractical. Of course, it might just as well be a matter of perspective, a choice between quality and quantity, but nonetheless, that price is a turn-off. Still, Apple continues to be on top of Forbes' Most Valuable Brands as of 2019.
The last reiteration of the SE or 'Special Edition' iPhone was back in 2016. Today, at a time where the latest iPhone 11 has a price of P47,990 and the iPhone XR before that has a price of P40,990, this more affordable model is really a refreshing sight.
The iPhone SE 2020 sports the iPhone 11 Pro's A13 Bionic chip and can run with the latest iPhone updates. It has a 4.7" Retina HD display and a durable glass and aluminum design that's splash, water, and dust resistant. It comes in white, black, and red. Its Home Button is also enabled with Touch ID.
It has 12MP Wide camera with ƒ/1.8 aperture on the rear and a 7MP camera with ƒ/2.2 aperture on the rear. It is capable of Portrait Mode, Depth Control, Portrait Lighting, Smart HDR, and can capture 4K videos.
Here are the prices of the new iPhone SE 2020:
64GB – P26,490
128 GB – P30,490
