Kicking off yet another year that’s one for the books, Samsung launches its first smartphone offering in 2018, the Samsung Galaxy A8 and A8+.
Samsung's newest premium smartphones' standout feature is the dual – 16MP and 8MP – front cameras which may help you take better selfies. This is Samsung's first ever smartphone with a dual front camera with Live Focus and also has an Adjustable Blur feature.
Similar to the Galaxy S8, there's only one rear camera at 16MP which lets you shoot stunning landscapes and wide shots, detailed close-ups, and cinematic videos right in the palm of your hands.
Another highlight of the phone is the 5.6-inch (A8) and 6-inch (A8+) Inifinity Display equipped with an 18:5:9 display to give you the full cinematic viewing experience. With its IP68 water and dust resistance feature, you can submerge the A8 and A8+ in up to 1.5 meters of fresh water for up to 30 minutes. Moreover, the Galaxy A8 has a 3,000mAh battery while the Galaxy A8+ has 3,500mAh with support for fast charging.
