Globe Announces Blackpink as Their Newest Brand Endorser

After teasing us with a photo on their social media pages, Globe has finally introduced BLACKPINK, one of today’s biggest music groups, into its family! The Korean girl group joins Globe’s world-class roster of endorsers to “enlighten a rather eventful year of all,” as Globe said in their press release.

“This year has brought unprecedented challenges for everyone, locally and globally. Despite this, we strive to provide customers better everyday experiences that they will enjoy. Having BLACKPINK join the Globe family is proof that we won’t stop bringing the world into our customers’ homes. BLACKPINK being one of the world’s biggest groups has a huge following in the country.  We want to bring our customers nothing less than the best in entertainment,” says Ernest Cu, Globe’s President & Chief Executive Officer. 

The quartet becomes the first K-pop group to have the most music videos viewed, with over 1 billion views for their debut music video “Boombayah.” Among their most recent projects include their first full album, The Album, and Blackpink: Light Up the Sky, the Netflix documentary which both dropped back in October.

The telco company is yet to announce the projects and events they have lined up that feature BLACKPINK.
