THE STORY
According to Tin Tolentino, the idea of selling homewares started last year, after her visit to Taiwan and China. After seeing just how intricate they make every ceramic ware there, she thought about bringing it here in the Philippines through her brand Spencers PH to share it with those who love these kinds of items.
It was only during the pandemic that they’ve got the time to release the items. What started as a collection with a few items, eventually became bigger as more people supported their brand and their products. “We are now releasing new items monthly, way beyond our expectation. For sure, Spencers PH is a brand to stay,” Tin said.
The Specialty
Spencers primarily offers dishwares that are made of soft ceramic and bone china ceramic material. They decided to offer these items because they wanted to make sure that the products they have are sustainable, functional, and affordable, staying true to their tagline “Blending form and function.”
While they currently have a variety of items in their catalog, Tin says that their personal favorite and bestseller right now are their Amber basic matte plates. This item comes in 3 sizes and is perfect for those who are looking for a dessert plate, a salad plate, or a dinner plate. It also comes in 4 stylish colors — Teal Green, Black, White, and Pink.
Aside from this item, some of the other products Spencers has include serving dishes, cooking pots, vases, tapestries, and rugs.
