Share RLove: Donate Robinsons Rewards Points to Help Those in Need

Your points can reach Public Transport Groups, OFW returnees and medical frontliners.

The health crisis has brought out the best in Filipinos. From big corporations to private individuals, people are extending a helping hand during the pandemic. We have answered the call by expressing love to one another.

For Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC), one of the country’s leading real estate developers, providing assistance is an integral part of its core values. One of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, RLove, organizes various social welfare and advocacy projects through philanthropy, volunteerism, and partnerships.

With RLove, employees engage in volunteer work; the community provides relief operations during disasters and calamities; leading environmental protection advocacies like clean-up drives and tree-planting.

More recently, RLC has been active in helping frontliners, especially healthcare workers. The company has donated necessary tools such as personal protective equipment (PPE) to public hospitals around the country. This way of life is common in the conglomerate RLC belongs to, as social responsibility runs at the core of JG Summit Holdings, Inc. (JGSHI). Last March, the philanthropic arm of JGSHI, Gokongwei Brothers Foundation, pledged a P100-million fund to help address the needs of healthcare providers in the fight against the virus.

Today, RLove is launching a new donation drive in partnership with Robinsons Supermarket (RSC) and Robinsons Rewards (RR). Members of the Robinsons’ loyalty program are given a chance to donate points to help people in need – to show RLove to our fellow countrymen.

Each point is equivalent to 1 peso, and all donated points will be used to purchase Robinsons Gift Certificates. The gift certificates will be given to beneficiaries hand-picked by RLC – particularly the Public Transport Groups, OFW returnees and medical frontliners. It can be used to buy groceries and medicine at Robinsons Supermarket, Robinsons Easymart, and Robinsons Selections.

The donation drive, which will last for two months, will begin July 15 and concludes on September 15, 2020. Members of the Robinsons Rewards Community can make their points donations through cashiers at Robinsons Supermarkets or online through the Robinsons Rewards mobile application. The members decide how many points they are willing to donate.

In these trying times, people do whatever they can to help. Whether be it in cash or in kind or in points, every bitā€”no matter how big or smallā€”helps. In this case, every point counts.
