Jaden Smith’s Collaboration with New Balance is Vegan-Friendly

Actor and rapper Jaden Smith has teamed up with shoe brand New Balance to create a pair of vegan sneakers.

Jaden Smith’s new shoes — Vision Racer — is designed with sustainability in mind. The uppers have synthetic leather, polyester, and reflective yarns, while the midsole uses recycled foam.

Jaden Smith’s Vision Racer merges classic New Balance design with his unique, bold, and fashion-forward aesthetic. From creating a new silhouette to manufacturing, the actor and rapper was hands-on.

“Jaden’s passion for sustainability and progressive fashion, coupled with an appreciation for classic New Balance product led to the “vision” behind the NB for Jaden Smith Vision Racer,” according to New Balance.

The Vision Racer launches globally on July 24, priced at $150 (≈PHP 7,400). It will be available via www.newbalance.com and select retail locations.
