From the scariest to the funniest Halloween costumes, you can be literally anyone you want to be. And while it's just a few days away, looking for the perfect costume for that party you'll be attending can be really stressful. Buying in websites and stores are fine, only if you're okay with being unoriginal and having the risk of running into someone wearing the same thing. But you're better than that. You want to be creative! Plus, some of the costume ideas listed below are already in your closet or are just easy to find.
We've listed down your favorite tv show or movie characters that are effortless to pull off, your friends would give you nods of approval. It doesn't matter if you're going solo or not. Here are halloween ideas you and your friends would enjoy:
1. Courtney Shayne and her clique in Jawbreaker

Before Regina George, Blair Waldorf and Chanel Oberlin, Courtney Shayne was the Queen of all Queen Bees. Jawbreaker was one of the best chick flicks ever created — it's about a clique of teenagers who accidentally murders their best friend on her birthday. The three then makes over a nerd who witnessed them and to replace the dead person's place.
What you'll need: If you want to be the Courtney of the group, wear a head-to-toe purple ensemble consisting of a cropped ribbed cardigan, satin capri-pants and a chiffon choker. As Courtney would say, “Learn it. Live it. Love it.”
2. The Ashleys from Recess

Recess is about six students with a mission to protect the other kids on the playground. The Ashleys however are a clique of four snobby and spoiled girls and are always saying "scandalous" simultaneously. Who could forget about The Ashleys in Recess?
What you'll need: Matching tops and skirts, knee highs and sinister smiles
3. The Chanels in Scream Queens

What you'll need: Matching pastel outfit (preferably pink) and a lot of screaming faces. Bonus points if you have a Red Devil mascot with you so people won't think you're pulling off Mean Girls.
4. Game of Thrones

Game of Thrones received a lot of hype this year and the year before so it's just right to geek out the right way with your friends. Plus points if you carry around dragon plush toys if you're going as Daenerys.

5. The Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club is about five high school students from different cliques enduring a Saturday detention. They start off indifferent between each other only to realize at the end of the day that they have a lot in common.
What you'll need: A brainiac, an athlete, an outcast, a princess and a criminal. If you haven't seen the movie, we're judging you.
6. Orange is the New Black

Since Orange is the New Black has a large cast — it is perfect for a fun and comfortable group costume. The show revolves around a woman in her thirties who is sentenced to a minimum-security women's federal prison for something she did 10 years earlier.
What you'll need: One person to wear an orange prison outfit with a white undershirt. One person to wear a bright red spiky wig, a chef's jacket, and glasses around your neck to act as Red. The rest, a tan prison jumpsuit and you'll look like the cast in no time.
7. Archie and the Gang

If you've never had an Archie comic in hand when you were a kid, your life's incomplete. The photo above shows Veronica, Archie, Betty and Jughead but you can add as many characters you want for Halloween!
What you'll need: Outfits that shout the '50s and some comic books to copy their looks from.

What you'll need: Plaid skirts, knee highs, boots, leather jacket and a fierce face. Bonus points if you have the Witchs' Book of Shadows.
9. How I Met Your Mother costume choices

Choose from being Ted as a ballot. Marshall, Lily and Ted as Salt, Pepper and Cumin or all of them dressing up as John Bender from The Breakfast Club.
What you'll need: Some sense of humor and possibly have seen all the episodes.
10. The Gang from Scooby Doo

As you can remember, it is a cartoon series which features four teenagers — Fred, Daphne, Velma and Shaggy — with their talking Great Dane, Scooby-Doo who solves mysteries involving supposedly scary creatures only to find out their just normal people with masks and costume. So maybe you can remove random people's masks on Halloween and get away with it!
