The highly anticpated track performed by KZ Tandingan for the upcoming Disney animation ‘Raya and the Last Dragon‘ is now out!
Entitled ‘Gabay,’ it is the very first song in a Disney soundtrack that features the Filipino language. “I am very grateful and I feel very proud to be singing in my language, and show off its beauty to the rest of the world,” KZ Tandingan shares.

Raya and the Last DragonĀ is set in the fantasy world of Kumandra, where humans and dragons used to live in harmony. That is until an evil force led the dragons to sacrifice themselves to save humanity. When evil returns to their land 500 years later, a lone warrior named Raya must track down the last dragon to restore the fractured land and unite its people.
This film is Disneyās first-ever title to center on Southeast Asian culture. Previous trailers and clips of the movie also revealed Rayaās weapon that is very similar to the Filipino arnis, as well as the salakotĀ she is wearing.
