Two years since Limasawa Street, Ben&Ben is here with their sophomore album Pebble House Vol. 1: Kuwaderno.
The 9-piece band expands their sound with musical experiments and bolder songwriting in their 13-track album. It captures the songs, stories, messages, experiences, learning, and insights that accompanied them through their self-reflecting but fulfilling journey. For this, they have collaborated with the biggest names in the Philippine music industry on six of the songs: āSwimming Poolā (Feat. Chito Miranda of Parokya Ni Edgar), āPasalubongā (Feat. Moira Dela Torre), āLunodā (Feat. Zild and juan karlos), āSabelā (Feat. KZ Tandingan), āKapangyarihanā (Feat. SB19), and āSugatā (Feat. Munimuni).
In this exclusive interview, Ben&Ben shares how their songwriting process changed over the years, how they’ve decided which artists to tap for their collaborations, and what’s living with each other has done to their relationship. This is the second time I’ve spoken to the band and after two years, I’m surprised how down-to-earth they still are after all their accomplishments.
