A shy, reserved young man and a bubby, impulsive girl find themselves partnered in the dance class of a brilliant but eccentric teacher who urges them to tap into their wild sides for inspiration. As they learn to complement each other in dance, they find a lot of what's missing in their lives in each other, and soon fall in love. But the real world intervenes, and threatens to put an end to their romance.
