The director of Won’t You Be My Neighbor? is back with another documentary! This time, it’s all about the culinary icon, Anthony Bourdain, and the legacy that he has left in the world. Roadrunner: A Film About Anthony Bourdain will be making its premiere at the Tribeca FIlm Festival, before opening in US cinemas this July 16.

The documentary is about Anthony Bourdain who’s known for living his life unabashedly. It gives the audience an “intimate, behind-the-scenes look” at how he became a culinary and cultural icon, and how he impacted the world and the people he met.
Roadrunner comes from Academy Award-winning filmmaker Morgan Neville, who also directed 20 Feet From Stardom, Won’t You Be My Neighbor.
Anthony Bourdain was a chef, writer, adventurer, and provocateur, known for doing programs that explore international culture and cuisine. He died by suicide in July 2018. He was 61.
Roadrunner: A Film About Anthony Bourdain premieres first at the Tribeca Film Festival, then in US cinemas this July 16.
