Whether you're one of the kids who would be seeing a Toy Story film in cinemas for the first time or the older crowd who literally grew up with the franchise, there's no denying of the excitement everyone collectively felt when the trailer to Toy Story 4 finally dropped last night!
Watch the trailer here:
Just like what we have learned in the past couple of teasers, the fourth film in the Toy Story franchise introduces a new friend Bonnie literally made – Forky! Not really made to be a toy, he is in denial of his position in Bonnie's life, and Woody is there to make him see his new purpose.
The new trailer also gave us a glimpse of Buzz Lightyear and the rest of Bonnie's toys, as well as Bo Peep who will be appearing for the first time in 20 years. What role she would be playing in the upcoming film is something we should definitely watch out for.
Toy Story 4 follows Woody whose priority has always been to take care of his owner, may it be Andy or Bonnie. When a toy-in-denial named Forky came into the picture, declaring himself as trash and not a toy, Woody makes it his mission to make Forky realize and embrace himself being a toy. Following a family road trip, Woody finds himself reuniting with his long-lost girlfriend Bo Peep who has now become adventurous after spending years on her own.
The film is directed by Josh Cooley, and will be featuring the voices of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Annie Potts, Joan Cusack, Tony Hale, and more.
Toy Story 4 opens in cinemas this June 21.
