From the director the Diary of a Wimpy Kid comes the drama film Words on Bathroom Walls, premiering in US cinemas this August. It stars Charlie Plummer and Andy Garcia.

The film is based on Julia Walton’s novel of the same name. It centers on a boy who dreams of becoming a chef. When he is diagnosed with schizophrenia, Adam is determined to keep this as a secret in his new school, fearing that his illness will be exposed to his schoolmates. Things change when he meets the outspoken Maya, who encourages him to open his heart and help him see the light.
The film comes from director Thor Freudenthal, with a screenplay by Nick Naveda. It stars Charlie Plummer, Andy Garcia, Taylor Russell, AnnaSophia Robb, Beth Grant, Molly Parker, and Walton Goggins. It also features music by the American duo The Chainsmokers.
