Riverdale's KJ Apa pairs up with Maia Mitchell in the upcoming romantic comedy film on Netflix, The Last Summer set to premiere on the streaming service this May 3.

The film follows the intersecting stories of a group of high school graduates as they spend their final summer before going off to college. Before they finally commit themselves into adult life, each of them will have to give it their all to win the heart of the person worth keeping in their lives.
The Last Summer stars K.J. Apa, Maia Mitchell, Jacob Latimore, Halston Sage, Sosie Bacon, Wolfgang Novogratz, Gabrielle Anwar, Ed Quinn, Jacob McCarthy, Mario Revolori, Gage Golightly, Norman Johnson, Jr. and Tyler Posey.
The film is directed by William Bindley, who also co-wrote the film with Scott Bindley. It is produced by Mike Karz, William Bindley and Wayne Rice.
